This is a fine pull from the taper. Also quite a strong performance throughout! Certainly just a coincidence but the first show of 1992 without any of the new songs is the hottest show of the year so far (small sample, this is the 5th show of 1992). Whole first set is very well played if a little on the short side (7 songs; 51 minutes) and the second set is a fine adventure with solid performances of many favorites and even a bit of a jam out of the Terrapin. The lack of jamming has been my complaint thus far on my 1992 relisten project but the post-Terrapin and the space>Other One from this show offer up more than the 4 shows prior. As goes Jerry, there goes the band and our hero was present and playful on this evening. This was a strong show from opening Cold Rain through the Knockin' encore.

This screamin' show is right up there with the amazing performances that were the norm for the OMNI in the late 80's and 90's.
The crowd, as usual, is near fanatical, the "weather" was amazingly good for this run of shows, and the Band and crowd proves it.
A MUST HAVE performance.

I went off on a rant about an obnoxiously loud security guard checking tickets in the tapers' section. Turned out I was listening to a '94 show. {:-}}
This is an excellent recording, btw. ;-)
